Window Regulator and Window Glass
Do you have a window that won't go up, won't go down, goes up crooked or just won't stay up? Then you may have a problem with the Window Regulator.

A mechanism with a confusing name, the window regulator holds and lifts the glass in the side windows. Power is supplied by either an electric motor ( power windows ) or, less commonly, a hand crank ( manual windows ).
In a power window regulator, sometimes the motor can be separately replaced; sometimes you have to replace the whole regulator. Just because the power window won't go up or down DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN YOU NEED A NEW WINDOW REGULATOR! Sometimes the switch goes bad, a wire breaks, the gears strip, the motor croaks or the window glass comes unattached.
Of course, if we can replace the window regulator, we can also replace broken window glass. Often, we can install a used window glass at less expense than that of new glass.
